Our Values
Hisar School is an educational institution which believes in universal and contemporary values and also stands as a role model for the global community in a democratic and secular Turkish Republic enlightened by Ataturk’s principles and revolutions.
In our school, we embrace diversity, and give importance to create an environment in which differences are recognized, appreciated and encouraged. In the light of the United Nation’s Declaration of the Universal Human Rights, we believe and act according to the principle that each individual is a valuable member of the global community.
According to our philosophy of education, each child has the right to reach and further improve his/her true potential through the opportunities provided for him/her. In line with this philosophy, our school therefore focuses on creating a learning environment and structure in which students are supported to attain and fulfill their true potential.
In our school, learning through understanding holds a natural place in our daily lives. Living with high moral values, having a strong character, being socially responsible, as well as being capable of questioning and being creative are all as valuable as academic achievement.
In order for our students to be effective, knowledgeable, and successful individuals in a varied, changing and globalizing world, we guide them and offer them a myriad of opportunities and experiences, emphasizing problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and responsible decision-making skills.
