
Hisar School celebrated its 14th anniversary in 2010. The school carries out its educational activities in three buildings situated on an area of 22.800 m2 in Göktürk, one of the most rapidly growing districts in Istanbul. Our buildings include a learning center, libraries, science labs, computer centers, information center, a multi-purpose hall for 500 people, meeting rooms, Audio-Visual center, sports halls, game room, plastic art studios, movement education studio, music studios, counseling and advising center, infirmary, recreation areas, kitchen, and cafeterias. Apart from these buildings, there is a closed sports hall with steel construction, open mini football field, basketball court, green areas and car park.
Laboratories, libraries, sports areas, studios and all kinds of technological equipment that modern education requires prepare our students for the future. We make all kinds of opportunities available for our students in order to support their cultural and social development, and to help them discover their talent in every artistic area.
At school, we have a strong technological infrastructure and computer network system set up by our Information Technology unit. This unit is in an effort to strengthen and update the system every year in order to be able to serve our students and teachers, with a full capacity and high quality equipment. Every teacher has a laptop computer provided by the school. Wireless internet is available everywhere on campus.
The Hisar School Culture and Sports Center, that has been constructed on an area of
3.500 m2 was opened in 2009. The facilities in the center occupy a total space of 11.500 m2,
There is a theater with a capacity of 551 seats, an open air theatre for 350 people, and an exhibition hall of 257 m2, There are also music classrooms, a recording studio and separate rooms for different instruments.
In addition to the sports hall for basketball, volleyball, and handball, with a seating capacity of 760, there are special areas for gymnastics, fitness, ballet, dance, squash, far-eastern sports and table tennis.
Our purpose is to bring out the potential not only in our students, teachers and staff, but also in the residents of the neighborhood, and also to help and support them in discovering and developing their talents, abilities and skills. The Hisar Academy has been established to serve these purposes and offers a wide scope of programs. Our students, staff, parents and those who live in the neighborhood can come to the Hisar Academy on weekends and join these programs according to areas of their interest and/or ability. Various activities and workshops are organized in sports, music, arts, drama and many other areas.
